Downloading a Projector Configuration File

You can download a configuration file containing the menu settings from a projector so you can copy them to another projector.

You can download a configuration file while the projector is in use. Note the following points:

  • You cannot project any images while downloading.

  • When the download is complete, the projector turns off and it enters standby mode. Turn on the projector, if necessary.

  1. Log in to Epson Projector Management Connected.

  2. Click Device Information on the home screen.

  3. Click the Details tab.

  4. Select the projector from which you want to copy the menu settings.

    The detailed information screen for that projector is displayed.

  5. Click .

  6. Select Acquire Projector configuration data.

  7. Click Execute.

    The projector configuration file is downloaded.

    When the download is complete, the projector turns off and it enters standby mode.

    The projector configuration file is downloaded to the computer on which the Epson Projector Connected Agent software is installed.

    Save location: C:\ProgramData\SEIKO EPSON CORPORATION\epmc\PJCONFDATA

    File name: PJCONFDATA_<serial number>_yyyyMMddHHmmss.bin

  8. Click OK to close the Control screen.

When the download is complete, Acquisition Succeeded is displayed on the Status History tab on the detailed information screen. To open the detailed information screen, select the projector on the Details screen from Device Information.
