Environment Setup Screen

After importing the environmental setup file, the following screen is displayed when you select Environment Setup from the File menu on the Epson Projector Connected Agent main screen.

Organization ID

Displays the organization ID. The organization ID is a unique value for the server to identify your organization.

Agent ID

Displays the agent ID. The agent ID is a unique value for the server to identify your Epson Projector Connected Agent software.

Display Language

Sets the language used for the Epson Projector Connected Agent software.

Application Auto-update Time

Select the check box to automatically update when an update is available for the Epson Projector Connected Agent software at the scheduled time.

Clear the check box to update manually.

  • Make sure the computer on which the Epson Projector Connected Agent software is installed is turned on at the scheduled time.

  • If your version of the Epson Projector Connected Agent software is outdated, you may not be able to use all of the functions. We recommend that you use the latest version of the Epson Projector Connected Agent software.

Communication Mode

Allows you to select how to connect to the server.

  • Bi-directional: communication is established in both directions between the Epson Projector Connected Agent software and the server.

  • Uni-directional: communication is restricted to one direction from the Epson Projector Connected Agent software to the server. You cannot use the following functions that require communication from the server to the Epson Projector Connected Agent software.

    • Schedule settings

    • Projector control

    • Firmware update

    • Copying menu settings

Save location folder

Click Open to open the folder in which the downloaded projector menu configuration file is saved.

Address

Enter the IP address if you are using a proxy server.

Port Number

Enter the port number if you are using a proxy server.

User Name

Enter the user name if you are using a proxy server that requires authentication.

Password

Enter the password if you are using a proxy server that requires authentication.

Log Acquisition Time

Select the time used as a baseline for the log transmission interval.

For example, when the Log Acquisition Time setting is set to 1:00 and the Transmission Interval setting of the Hour Interval Log setting is set to 8 hours, the log is sent to the server at 1:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m.

Hour Interval Log Transmission Interval

Set the notification interval for projector setting information such as the input source.

Minute Interval Log Transmission Interval

Set the notification interval for acquiring log data such as the projector usage time.

Send Log Immediately

Select the type of log data sent immediately from the following items.

  • Hour Interval Log Transmission Interval

  • Minute Interval Log Transmission Interval

Click Send to send the log notification.

You can send logs individually by right-clicking the projector on the right side of the main screen.

OK

Click this button to finish making settings.

Restart the computer to apply the changes.

The proxy authentication method supports Basic authentication.
