Setting Up a Projector when Connecting by Wired LAN

To connect a computer to the projector using a wired LAN, you need to select network settings on the computer and the projector.

The necessary settings vary depending on your projector. See your projector User's Guide for instructions.

  1. Connect the computer to the network.

To set up a network connection, if necessary, see the documentation supplied with your computer or network adapter.

  2. Connect a LAN cable to the projector.

  3. Turn on the projector.

  4. Press the Menu button on the remote control or the control panel, and select the Network menu.

  5. Set DHCP to Off and enter the projector's IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway Address values as necessary.

  6. When you have finished selecting settings, save your settings and exit the menus.

  • When not using the Epson Projector Connected Agent software, you can connect the projector to the network even if the DHCP setting is set to On or Off.

  • If no Web Control Password has been set, a screen prompting you to set a password is displayed before you can save settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to set the password.

  • You will use the Web Control Password when registering the projector.

  • When using the Epson Projector Connected Agent software, depending on your projector, firmware updates and copying menu settings over a wireless network are not supported. Connect the projector to a wired network when updating the firmware.
