User Account Types

Epson Projector Management Connected provides the following user account types.

Available functions differ depending on your account type.

  • Administrator

    Administrators can use all functions. Assign this role to users who manage organizations and their users.

    • Device Information menu: Displays the status of registered projectors as a summary or in detail.

    • Firmware Update menu: Updates firmware for a projector over a network.

    • Notifications menu: Allows you to select the contents and recipients for email notifications.

    • Report menu: Allows you to select report settings.

    • Schedule menu: Allows you to select settings to control projectors automatically at a specified dates and times.

    • User menu: Allows you to add or delete users.

  • Operator

    Operators can use all functions except adding or deleting organizations and users. Assign this role to users responsible for operating devices.

    • Device Information menu: Displays the status of registered projectors as a summary or in detail.

    • Firmware Update menu: Updates firmware for a projector over a network.

    • Notifications menu: Allows you to select the contents and recipients for email notifications.

    • Report menu: Allows you to select report settings.

    • Schedule menu: Allows you to select settings to control projectors automatically at a specified dates and times.

  • Viewer

    Viewers can see the status of registered projectors as a summary or in detail from the Device Information menu on the home screen. Assign this role to users who are only permitted to view information.
