When you cannot communicate with the server, try the following solutions. If you cannot resolve the problem, contact your network administrator.
When you cannot communicate with the server, the error message Cannot communicate with the server. is displayed on the Epson Projector Connected Agent screen.
Check the computer on which the Epson Projector Connected Agent software is installed.
Check if the computer is connected to the Internet.
Check that the proxy server settings are correct. The proxy authentication method supports Basic authentication. Restart the computer to apply the changes.
Make sure the service for the Epson Projector Connected Agent software is running on your computer. You can check if the service is running from the Services tab in Task Manager.
Try restarting your computer.
Check the projector's network settings.
Turn off the DHCP settings.
Connect to the same network as the computer on which the Epson Projector Connected Agent software is installed. Also, check that the IP address and the DNS server settings are correct.
When you cannot communicate with the server, the error message Not connected to the server. is displayed in the projector's EPMC Monitoring Control setting menu.
Check that the projector is connected to the Internet and make sure the settings are correct.
If the projector is not connected to the Internet, make sure that the Priority Control Interface setting is set to the LAN you use to connect to the Internet. (If your projector has no Priority Control Interface setting, you do not need to make this setting.)
If the projector is not connected to the Internet, check the network settings of the LAN you use to connect to the Internet.
When selecting On as the DHCP setting, make sure that the IP address, the subnet mask, and the gateway address are acquired correctly.
When selecting On as the DHCP setting and obtaining the DNS server address automatically, make sure that the DNS Server 1 and DNS Server 2 settings are set to 0.0.0.0. (The address acquired using DHCP is not displayed.)
When selecting On as the DHCP setting and specifying the DNS server address manually, make sure that the DNS Server 1 setting or both DNS Server 1 and DNS Server 2 settings are set correctly.
When selecting Off as the DHCP setting, make sure that the IP address, the subnet mask, and the gateway address are set correctly. And, make sure that the DNS Server 1 setting or both DNS Server 1 and DNS Server 2 settings are set correctly.
Check that the proxy server settings in EPMC Settings in the projector's menu are correct.
Check that the projector's date and time settings are correct.
