To connect a computer to the projector over a wireless LAN, you need to select network settings on the computer and the projector.
The necessary settings vary depending on your projector. See your projector User's Guide for instructions.
Contact your network administrator and write down the settings for the access point, such as the SSID and security settings.
Connect the computer to the network.
To set up a network connection, if necessary, see the documentation supplied with your computer or network adapter.
If the projector does not have a built-in wireless LAN, install the wireless LAN unit on the projector. See your projector User's Guide for instructions.
Turn on the projector.
Press the Menu button on the remote control or the control panel, and select the Network menu.
Turn on wireless LAN support.
Select one of these settings to connect the projector to a wireless LAN. The necessary settings vary depending on your projector.
Turn off the Simple AP setting.
Select Advanced for Connection Mode.
Select other options as necessary for your network. See your projector User's Guide for instructions.
Select security settings as necessary for your network. Check with your network administrator for more information on choosing the correct settings.
When you have finished selecting settings, save your settings and exit the menus.
If no Web Control Password has been set, a screen prompting you to set a password is displayed before you can save settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to set the password.
You will use the Web Control Password when registering the projector.
